¡Gracias, Jorge! This post confirms my sentiments. I’m preparing for a project where I am the only dev, at least for now. For the past month, I’ve been researching frontend frameworks. Vue came out as the only one that seems acceptable to me, as it can be implemented incrementally and at different levels.

But still, I’m not convinced it’s the way to go for a project that will need to last 5 to 10 years. Unlike the good old Rails’ way, frontend frameworks yet have to prove themselves as a long-term, reliable technology.

This post is a real breakthrough for me. I thought myself to be alone in this point of view. But your words reflect exactly what I am feeling. You made the choice a lot easier. :) So thanks again!
