I found Gravit Designer to be a good alternative to Inkscape. At least it looks better, which is always nice.

If only we could convince the Affinity people to release a Linux version too, many designers would consider switching to elementary OS. I can deal with the Gimp, but many designers I know won’t even take a look at it.
