Thanks for the suggestion. Deepin was one of my options but I decided to stay closer to what’s familiar, because I knew Ubuntu rather well. I’ll install it on my spare laptop to check it out.

For now, I’m still very happy with Pop!_OS. It stays out of the way and it performs really well.
